PERKS & POLICIES

Refer a friend and when they book their first appointment online, have them mention your name in the comments section at checkout. Make sure you drop me a quick note to confirm the referral. They’ll get 10% off their first visit and as a thank you, you’ll receive a 10% voucher to use at your next appointment!

  • The person referring a friend for their first appointment must be an existing client, aka someone who has attended an appointment with Joanna Johnson Artistry before. 
     

  • Client perks are non-transferable to anyone else.
     

  • Client perk discounts are not valid for a use with a group booking. 

 
GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Vouchers remain valid for six months from the date of purchase.
     

  • Vouchers are non-refundable and are non-redeemable for cash.
     

  • Change will not be given for unused portion of a voucher, but may be used toward a future appointment. 
     

  • Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any special offers or promotions. 
     

  • Compensation will not be given for lost or stolen vouchers. It is purchaser's/recipient's responsibility to keep them safe.
     

  • Cancellations made within 24hrs of the scheduled appointment will forfeit half of the voucher value.
     

  • Any no-shows for a booked appointment will forfeit the full voucher value.

 
POLICIES

  • Lateness: Please be courteous and text, call or email if you are running late for your appointment. A late fee of $15 may be charged if 15 minutes has passed beyond your appointment start time. Thereafter, $1 per minute may be charged for further lateness. Your service may also be cut short in order to finish at the scheduled time, to ensure the remaining appointments in the day run on time. 
     

  • No-shows: Any now-shows to appointments will be charged 100% of the booked appointment fee. In the case of a no-show for a free patch test, if then you wish to continue with a booking for your desired service, you will be required to pay the full cost of the service in advance. 
     

  • Cancellations: You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at anytime up to 24 hours prior to the booked appointment time. Any cancellations within the 24 hours before your appointment will be charged 50% of the appointment fee. 
     

  • Public Holidays: A 25% surcharge applies for public holidays and will be added manually to your balance owing.
     

  • Photos: To assist with future bookings and for promotional purposes, sometimes photos may be taken either prior to, during, and/or upon completion of the service. These photos may be used in my digital portfolios (website, social media etc.) If you do not wish for your photos to be used, please just let me know or feel free to decline a photo being taken. NB. Photos will never be taken for spray tanning services.


    MAKEUP BOOKINGS-SPECIFIC:

  • Earlybird Fee: If bookings are required to start prior to 7am an Earlybird Fee of $30 will apply for each half hour before 7am. E.g. a 6:30am start = $30 fee, or a 6am start = $60 fee, and so on. 
     

  • In the Event of Illness: If I am unwell on your booked date, I will notify you at the earliest moment possible, at which time you can make the call as to whether you would like to cancel the booking with a full refund for the pending services, or whether you are happy for me to still attend and fulfil your makeup requirements. Please note that where the government stipulates certain guidelines/rules (such as in the case of Covid-19) these will come into play above the wishes of either party (you or I).
     

  • Breaks: For larger groups I may request to break at some point, between people, to eat something (supplied by myself). Some bookings can take quite a few hours to complete and it is important to keep myself fueled in order to do my best work and prevent fading from lack of food.
